NEW STUDENTS - How Do I Get Started?

STEP 1: Test our courses on your computer.
You may wish to start by viewing our “Demo” Course.  The “Demo” Course is FREE.  It contains: text, images, full-motion video, hyperlinks to other web sites, sample quiz and a sample survey.  If the “Demo” plays on your computer system, then ALL of our courses will work on your computer system.  If your computer system has trouble with the full-motion video, each course description will indicate whether or not it includes video.

STEP 2: Determine which courses you need.
The Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE) requires that all salespersons and brokers have 24 hours of continuing education every two years.  

Note: New sales persons and new brokers are initially given a two year license; these people must take 24 hours to renew their license.  

New Salespersons: The 6 hour Contract Writing Boot Camp Course, which was required for you to get your license, CAN be used for your first renewal and is good for 3 hours CE in the category “Contract Law” and 3 hours CE in the category “Real Estate Legal Issues.”

For new brokers: The 3 hour Broker Management Clinic, which was required for you to get your license, CAN be used for your first renewal and is good for 3 hours CE in the category of “Commissioner’s Standards.”  

All Four Year Licenses: If you are a salesperson or broker and have a 4 year license, you MUST still take 24 hours of continuing education (CE) credit every 2 years.  You can take MORE than 24 hours of CE, but NOT LESS.  If you take more than 24 hours of CE in a 2 year period, the CE credits do not “carry over” to the next two years or to the next renewal period.

If you need all 24 hours, we make it easy to get all 24 hours, with at least 3 hours of CE in each ADRE required category.  In each 2 year period, ADRE requires that all licensees (brokers and salesperson) take at least one 3 hour CE course in each of six categories: (1) Agency Law, (2) Contract Law, (3) Commissioner’s Standards, (4) Disclosure, (5) Fair Housing, and (6) Real Estate Legal Issues.  One 3 hour CE course in each of the 6 ADRE required categories equals 18 hours.  For the other 6 hours, you may take 1 or 2 “General” courses or 1 or more of any of the required category courses.

If you already have some CE, but need more to equal a total of 24 CE hours, we make it easy to determine what you need.

The “Title” of each of our courses is preceded by the ADRE assigned category (in all capital letters), followed by the name of the course.

In addition, each course is accompanied by a “graphic” and a number in the graphic, so you can easily tell what you have and what you need.  Remember, you need one 3 hour CE course in each of the 6 required categories.

STEP 3:  Select the courses you need/want.  
To “select” a course, click on “Add to Cart.”  You will be taken to your Shopping Cart page,where the course you just selected will be listed.

To select another course, click on “Continue Shopping.”

When you are ready to “Check Out,” just click on the “PayPal, Click Here to Buy” button.  Don’t worry, you do not need a PayPal account; you can pay with any major credit card.  But if you have a PayPal account, you can pay with that.  If you wish to open a PayPal account, you can do that, too.

STEP 4: Enter your “user data.”
We only collect you name and an e-mail address.  We DON’T share your information with ANYONE!  You select your own user name and password.

IMPORTANT: When you register, you should enter your name as it appears on your license.  Don’t worry.  If you are not sure, at the end of each course, you will be prompted to check ADRE’s web site to see how your name appears on your license.  We even give you a direct hyperlink, to make it easy.
